Guldstrand mod. or larger balljoints ?

Hey Guy's,
I have been doing a lot of reading about the Guldstrand mob. and about large balljoints for 1st gen. Camaro's on this forum :lateral:
Is it possible to do it both or is that overkill ? Has anyone tried to install the upper balljoint under the A-arm in stead of on top of the A-arm ? It should lower it by half an inch, kind of like a large balljoint. See my pics.
Thanks.

If by large ball joint you mean tall ball joint(to alter roll center height) the answer would be No.The line to determine roll center is drawn thru the ball not the edge of the control arm.Creative thinking though.

Ok I get it by lowering the actual ball I messup the line. What is beter Guldstand mod. or tall baljoints ?

Tall b/j's are an easy fix and affect roll center ht. The frame mount locations determine both roll center ht. and anti-dive.
