Local Strip Pics

I mentioned a while back (probably a month ago) about a VERY nice looking 2nd gen camaro in College Station. Well tonight we got a few pics. If we could have drug people away from the car long enough to get better pics it would have been nice, but it was fun to see 4-6 old and young people with their back to a blue GTS Viper (shelby modified), to stare at the millenium yellow Z28! Attached are a few pics, let me know what you think. Oh and the tail lights are from a C4 corvette custom by the owner, also has remote start, keyless entry, alarm, autometer gauges in a covan's dash, 4th gen firebird seats and console. Anyway enough of my blabbing, check the pics.

Wow. That Camaro is really sweet. That's another set of wheels I'm looking at getting too. That just makes me want them more. Crap... I'm getting all jealous again....

Nice car. I like those one piece rear spoilers.

Wheels are 17 inch torque thrust D's i'm pretty sure with a drag radial on the back (pretty wide one at that, just cant remember the size). Yea the rear spoiler is very nice, i think my favorite feature about the car is eithe rthe C4 tail lights or his pillar pod gauges he fabbed up. I'll try and get pics of those next week, and maybe more pics of the viper. I can report with more pics now because my gf got a digicam!

The wheels look like the standard 17x8 fronts and 17x9.5 rears. It's common to get a 275/40 or even a 285/40 on the rear of a 2nd gen. Looks good to me though.

Your car is calling...go out to the garage and get to work

I'm a big fan of the early 2nd gens. I like that car, too. I'm actually impressed the grey centers look so good on yellow. I had nixed them early for my car because I didnt think they'd look that good (same color combo). But that's a nice car.

I'll be back in Austin soon and suppose I'll see that car up there some time, unless that Aggie is afraid of a few Longhorns!!!
