ls1 info
 

I have a 79 malibu I am thinking of putting in a ls engine.what do I need to do to get this in.wire harness,engine accessories,fuel..what hidden things to look out for..I plan on getting the manual tranny too..all info would be good thanks

If you are going the used route, my advice would be to get it all complete. LS1, T56, wiring, accessories etc. Piecing together everything from the classifieds or ebay can cost a fortune. If it comes with a harness, you can modify it by following any number of online guides. There is no shortage of info available online, but be prepared to spend some time sifting through it all.

I was looking into getting a complete set up motor tranny harness out of 95 gto. From f-parts.com runs about 5 grand and up. I here the gto set up is more desired?
