F body subframe body mounts
 

In my qwest to replaced aged parts, improve handling, and achieve proper stance will replacement of my original body mounts result in a change in stance?

The current wheels are 15" with 60 series tires, up front are older HO Performance 2" low stiffer rate springs that have probably settled, in the rear are Global's stiffer 2" lower leafs that are 10 years old but have less than 1K miles.

Finally after 22 years of tolerating the current wheels I have 18" wheels with 40 series tires coming within 3 weeks so the rim/fender lip visual should decrease 1.5", but the rear is still a little high IMO, fender lip to ground dimension is currently 24.5". New tire diameter should be with a .25" of existing.

Am I correct in assuming new stock thickness body mounts will slightly increase the rim/fender lip distance up front? If so, I'm hoping it will help level the stance. I have 1" blocks in the rear and don't want to go thicker.

Longrange plan is to go SpeedTech front sub and rear torque arm.

Is my factoring accurate?

Even with the age of the original subframe bushings, I doubt you're going to see any noticeable change in replacing them with stock height subframe bushings.

Personally, I'd put solid subframe bushings in. :thumbsup:
