Whats better for high HP, 12 bolt or Ford 9"???

I'm going to be running 1000 HP in a 69 Camaro just for the street. What is a better rear end to run, a 12 bolt or a Ford 9"???

Either one with a 35 spline Wave Trac will handle the situation. I lean towards keeping my cars all GM, but am using a 9" with a Wave trac in the Project Unfair mainly because of the 3 link center brackets.
