Ever run a vacuum pump w/ serpentine setup?
 

Curious if anyone has run a Moroso or similar style engine vacuum pump on an engine with serpentine pulleys? I have a Big Block Chevy running the March Performance StyleTrac pulley system and am gonna make it happen, but would rather not reinvent the wheel.

Scoggin Dickey says I can boost hp from 720 to 800hp+ on their 572 by dyno tuning, jetting and adding the vacuum pump! We run vacuum pumps on our dragsters and they free up a bunch of cheap horsepower.

I built my own Style Track system using a Moroso 4 Vane pump and a Meziere water pump. Was a bitch to line it all up and make the brackets for the Vacuum pump, but in the end works perfect.

I am using a 2 groove crank pulley and running the vacuum pump off its own short belt.

7800 RPMs, stays on fine.

Kim from March performance was all over it at PRI so I would not be surprised to see something down the road offered from march, but not today
