Cast your vote, win a rendering
 

OK so here's what I wanna do: keep it simple, you vote for any car you like, I draw votes out of a hat and whoever I pick gets a print of the resulting car rendering signed and shipped to your house. Prints of the rendering then go on sale and the first handful get it dirt cheap and after that it gets a "regular" price.

This is just for fun so feel free to post suggestions to make it even more juicy and I'll settle on something more official in the next week or so. My initial thought is to simply take e-mails and PMs for a month or so, post progress of the rendering so you guys can see how it's coming along and go from there. Just make sure to put something like "vote 69 Camaro" (or whatever) in the subject and I'll put em into a pot. Whoever gets drawn picks wheels and color, maybe a few custom mods and I put something together. Or it could be like a community thing where you guys shout out suggestions to narrow the car down to a group of say 5 or 6 models, then ya vote from the list (this is where the winner is picked I suppose) and everyone steers the direction of the design through a poll - like vote for color, wheels etc. That could be cool. Actually that sounds pretty cool, but I'm tired so it could be crazy. Let me hear some thoughts.

Sorry guys, had to be out of town past couple days.

I was thinking a one-off deal, something all new. You guys pick the car and basically how it's gonna look and someone wins a print of one. I'll post the progress of it as I draw it. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of something the community had a hand in designing.

Of course ... you're welcome to buy prints of some of the drawings you see on my site and blog. :unibrow: Can't sell prints of paying projects but not everything on there was.

Yeah that's what happens at 11:48 at night, thinking gets hazy. I re-read my original post and I wasn't very clear. I'm looking to draw something for you guys, have you steer the design, give away a copy to someone who voiced their opinion and put the prints up for sale after it's all finished up.


Go ahead and sound off, any car you like, we'll get this thing rolling.

In the artwork section someone suggested doing something that isn't as often seen as some models. What do you guys think? Maybe a list of odd balls to choose from?

So I actually got a few notes and e-mails and I'm gonna move this to the artwork section from here on out. See you guys over there. I'll put together a poll based on what I've gotten ... this might turn out to be pretty fun.
