fairmont build ?
Has anyone seen or done a farimont build?
I have a 81 fairmont futra that im thinking about building. Any help or ideas would be really appreciated. thanks |
Fairmonts are the same as mustang fox bodies. There is everything under the sun from the aftermarket for the chassis and brakes. good luck with the build.

the kicker is body parts are hard to find been looking for a tail light for some time now
and a low budget build that will be a driver what would be the best way on power? new 5.0, aluminum 4.6 2.0 out of a focus with turbos, aluminum 2.3 out of a ranger with turbos, of a ford euro 4 cyl. diesel? thanks |

Lat-g member FreddieCougar has a Fairmont Super Gas car so he's familiar with your plight for parts and may be of help. |

Fairmont
I think they work great!Have done 3 of them.I have done on with a big block for and one with my uncle with a sbc.The extra girth in the body rear seams to be a plus in my opinion.

heres pics of the car. all the carts were parked very close to each other so this is the best i could get:

this is true that if you intend to sell it the market will not be that great. BUT they are cheap and use fox body parts sooo building a nice budget car is very possible, and its different!
