Painted or powerdercoat bumpers ?
Whats recommended and does anyone have any pictures of either or?
Thanks. |
Powdercoated finish will be more chip resistant.

Powder coating can chip too, although it is more durable. I know several of us on here, myself included, have wheels that are powder coated and have chips in the powder coat.
Because powder coating can also chip, you might want to take into account which is easier to fix. If you're worried about chips you can always put a clear bra wrap on the bumper. Matt |

i also had this decision to make, but since i cant get a powdercoater to match my color i have to do it in paint. |
I did mine in powdercoat and then paint. Welded in the bumper mounts and shaved the bolt heads. Came out perfect.
