it was for charity, it had edsel ford and carrol shelby backing it, on stage... hence the price... in my opinion.

Car be worth a fraction of that in a year or two.. silly..

And Carrol Shelby will sign anything.. I could buy one for $50k and have him sign it as some event..

If it wasn't for charity I would say this guy is an idiot, but since it IS for charity I think it is awsome :cool: and the guy has some bragging rights (having the first production '07 GT500 etc) to show for it too.

If I had that kind of money I would buy the first production 200(insert possible number here) top of the line (SS? ZL1? etc) Camaro for charity too :yes: .

That is true, I agree. But what about 25 years from now? Yes, the charity thing is good, but it could be a good LONG term investment. Wrap it up and leave it in the garage for a while...never know.

Great for charity. But should've just gave the money and bought a better car latter in the auction.

When I saw it I thought this must be a joke. If its for charity put out a better car, like a 64 shelby or something like that and really get a good buy as well as a good feeling of giving. 600k man that car will never be worth close to that.
