LSx front pulley system??

Hey guys, iam about to purchase a front drive pulley system for the 5.3l LSx engine i put in my dads 80 Camaro. We have looked around a little and see alot of people using the Vintage Air Front Runner kit. What are you guys using and what do you think is the best bang for the buck?

I've been looking at front pulley kits for a while and I've found that for the money, the Vintage Air kit is the most complete. The Billet Specialties is nice, but more money once you get into the premium kits. I was also looking at the Wegner kits as recommended by Frank, but I noticed they don't come with a water pump. They run about $2100 compared to $2550 for the Vintage Air. After you get a water pump for the Wegner, you're almost at the VA price. I also think the VA has one of the better looking set ups. I'm really leaning that way.

I thought the Wegner kits did come with the water pump. On there web site it shows them with the kits.

I've also been looking at options for these, it looks to me like the wegner kits that use a stewart pump come with it, otherwise use your stock pump.

Call Casey Wegner at (Nine Two Zero)-394-3558. He is a great guy and will answer all your questions. They make these drives in house and can give you support like no other. We have their setup on our engine, obviously since they built it. LOL My point being, our engine will turn 7200rpm. This drive will live there. Not Bad! Hope this helps.

Get a factory setup for a c5/6 very affordable. You need your own water pump and balancer. I got my kit from scoggin dickey.

i was thinking about that but my main concern is clearance down low. The compressor and power steering pump have to be up high since we have steering linkage issues in front of the engine
