Ebay # 4607104139

Do you guys think this is an original 27000 mile car. He has no documentation so is there any way to tell if it is a true RS?

I have talked to guy and if I can come up with $38500 it is mine. Super clean car what do you guys think??

I am looking for an all original car non molested. Any suggestions?

camaro

looks like a nice car. as for price i don't know but remember it can only be
original once and in my opinion that makes it a neat car

looks pretty good, but in my opinion you could get a fully restored car for cheaper.

I'm with you on this one. If I was interested on buying and all origianl car then I would make sure no matter what that was in fact all original and worth something. But that isnt as fun as taking one that looks better then original and runs better and still be worth something.

seems high

seems high for no documentation.

go to www.camaros.net and they have a section that members will decode the tag for you.

The car may have come from california, but it is not a california car as it does not have any of the smog equipment on it.

The paint is not original, obviously.

If you guys were looking for a car for investment purposes only what would you do? I already have a 67 convert that is my driver. I just thought this car was extremely nice and all orig. Sucks he doesnt have any documentation.
Looking for an investment really

additional stuff

I looked back at it again. It has 67-68 SS stripe which I don't think you could get in 69. And I don;t think you could get an SS stripe from the factory unless it was an SS which this car is not.

On the cowl tag the numbers denote what appears to be a 6 cyl car not a V-8. I think the first 4 numbers should be (1248) All v-8 cars in 69 have multi-leaf springs and this car has mono-leafs.

I don;t have my books here at work, but I believe that I am correct.

You can also tell if it is a real RS by the ways that the holes are punched/not drilled through the firewall for the vaccum lines to work the lights.

The same rings true for the RS back-up light openings in the tail panel, as well as the holes in the trunk floor that the wiring runs thru.

If you are looking for a low mile "investment" car then I wouldnt touch it for that price without full documentation. The cars that bring good money have full documentation...look at B-J last weekend.

It is my understanding that all V-8 cars in '69 had multi-leaf rear springs.
