HPI Customs 68-72 Chevelle K-Brace Kits Official Release!
 

FINALLY! For all of those who have endured, thank you very much! Moving from one-off customizing to manufacturing takes a bit of a learning curve!

We aare happy to announce that as of Monday this week, we now have our 69-72 A-Body K-Brace kits boxed and ready to go out the door! All we need to know is what exhaust size you are wanting to run, and its ready to ship!

For those who have not seen the kits, they are a "Fabrication Required" frame boxing and reinforcement kit that supplies you with all the hard parts to reinforce your stock A-Body frame without the need for spending a fortune on a custom chassis or expensive equipment to do a one time job. We provide as much information as we can to help you out, and as long as you have some welding skills or a friend with a welder, a cutoff disc, measuring tape, and an angle finder then this kit is for you! (Or you can have someone install it!)

We have done our best to make the adjustable transmission crossmember adapt any GM automatic or manual (T-5/TKO/T-56) to small block, big block, or LS engine mounting locations (We have only confirmed using ATS motor plate kits or our own custom adapters, both available from us as well!).

The package includes laser cut boxing plates (ready for line clamps), mandrel bent, fully welded tubular k braces, adjustable transmission crossmember, rear exhaust crossmember/mount, body mount reinforcement plates, trick stainless exhaust hangers, and hardware. [/SIZE]

Kits are also available shipped with a stainless steel mandrel bent Dynatech Exhaust system, available in 3 inch or 2.5 inch, which match our crossmembers perfectly.

I found your product to be superior. This is coming from a guy that has purchased a LOT of stuff for cars over the years.
There is no "but", that said, I do have a question: I am "missing" 2 wafers/shims for the body mount holes. Do Buicks have a couple of more body mount locations than a Chevelle?

i already have a boxed frame (convertible) do you have a kit minus the crossmember

I wonder if this would work in a g body the frames are kinda close in size and shape.

Are these hpi kits still $600 to members?

Is this still in production? As of yesterday the website lists it as "Unavailable".
