WTB complete, high-end Pro-Tour car

2 Attachment(s)
Hope everyone is well. Well, here we go again. About 2-3 years ago I posted a WTB ad and heard about some very cool cars but in the end I purchased a new ZR1 Corvette (picture 1). Then, about 10-12 months ago I posted another WTB ad and ended up buying a Scott Whidby Camaro- absolutely awesome car (picture 2). I have sold the Camaro and am now looking for a replacement (tough act to follow) because I cannot live with an empty garage. So, if you either have or know of a really nice, complete Pro-Tour car for sale please shoot me a PM. I will be checking PM's daily and will get back to you as soon as I can. Generally, what I am looking for is:

1st gen. Camaro or Mustang
LSX motor (or latest gen. Ford motor) - could be open here
mini-tubbed
5 or 6 speed
completed car, ready to roll

As for price, it will depend on the car and can range from 50K to 100K-plus, again based on the car.

Many thanks in advance, :lateral:
Chris

Dude, you turn over more cars than Rupp does motors. I do like your style though...

Tell the story of the last one? Use, shakedown analysis and issues resolved if any and where you sold it? Thx Moe...

Hey Ron,

At Least Rupp can claim his job as an excuse for ripping though motors! I have no excuse.

As for orange 69 that Scott W. built, here is the (short to medium) story. I bought it from a guy in AZ. that Scott sold it to. The guy in AZ, real nice guy, had some other cars and never really had a chance to drive or show the Camaro. Then, he had a real estate deal come up and so the Camaro was on the market and I snapped it up. The car was \ is stunning. Let's put it this way; I took it to 3 big - ISCA judged - shows. We netted 12 trophies from 3 shows. Everything from best interior to best paint to best in show, etc. The car ran good but had a small electrical problem when it got here that turned out to just be a faulty ignition switch. Once that was solved and we tuned the carb. for my sea level elevation, the car just rips. And the interior, wow, way over the top. On every ISCA score card the interior scored a 30 out of 30. The paint went 29, 30, 29.5. Just an unreal show car. Scott builds awesome stuff. OK, nuff said. Why did I sell it? Because I go through cars like octu-mom goes through diapers. I just cannot seem to hold onto one. There was nothing wrong with the ZR1, I just got bored. There was nothing wrong with the Scott W. Camaro, I just hit my typical 6 - 12 month clock on car ownership, heard from someone who REALLY wanted to buy it when I bought it, received a fair offer for it so off it goes to Maryland. A good deal for both parties. And, this guy will likley be buried in this car.

So, onto the next car. I am going to start motocrossing again so maybe that will help me extend my car ownership clock. We will see.

Take care Ron,
Chris

Vinnie,

To start, dig your car and appreciate your offer to sell it. I would love to hear what is sounds like. Having just had a big block car, I am going to look around for an LSX car for a bit.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, a little off topic but the interior was done by Shannon's interiors using fiero seats. Did you like the looks and were they comfortable. I only ask because I'm just getting ready to do my interior using the same seats and concept.
Thanks
