Went to some Nascar today...
 

But they're not going in circles this week:lol:
I don’t post much over here, but I thought you all might enjoy a few of the pictures I took today.
I skipped out of work for a few hours and went to my local road course, Road America:thumbsup: to watch some Nascar Nationwide/Grand-Am practice.

Here is the car number that one last year, getting set up by Carl Edwards' stunt double so it's ready when he flies in tomorow.
Exiting turn 14, full throttle up the front straight:)

These cars are so unsophisticated which makes them so much fun to watch on a road course.

New Comaro's make great looking and amazing sounding race cars, we'll see how well they compete tomorow.

I love v8 muscle as much as the next guy, but also love all sorts of quick little cars too as I have a Neon SRT4 as a daily driver.

We may not be on the track this weekend but the OPTIMA Batteries OLC is hanging out with the NASCAR crowd this weekend at Road America as well...

It's sure is odd seeing a BMW and hearing a v8 roar rather than the screamin' mechanical sounds of the inline 6.
