1969 Camaro
I wanted to wait until it was done to post but summer will be ending soon and after one engine builder failing to meet his dead line and the second doing the same I'm about 8 weeks behind schedule. As soon as the motor shows up I can finish it.
The car started as a pro-street car. I left the Chris Alston 8 point cage but all other pro-street items were removed. I replaced the stock upper control arms with Global West. The turbo 400 was removed and I have an M-21 for it that was rebuilt in 2008. The motor will be a brand new first gen 420 hp motor. The 9" rear has been replaced with a 12 bolt posi. The original brake system has been replaced with a new Baer Track Plus set up. Tires are new 275/40 BF Goodrich G-Force Sports and will be 275/40 on all four corners mounted on 17x9.5 Torque Thrust Wheels. The heater boxes and heater core have been re-installed with new heater control assembly. All weather stripping is brand new incuding trunk and hood. Interior is super clean. Hoping to get somewhere around $28,000 but would also like to get input from members here to see if price is in line. Here's what I started with....... http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver053.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver052.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver051.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver050.jpg New tires and my old Torque Thrusts......... http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...White69002.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...White69001.jpg |
Where are you located?
I assume in those pictures the engine wasn't in it since it looks like the nose is riding really high. More pics would be nice too. |
I'm in Northern California 30 minutes east of Sacramento. The front is riding high because there is no motor or trans in it. The rear is high because I have not installed the drop leafs. Not much to see in the engine bay since there is no motor but I did install a new engine harness. The seats that came with the car were fixed back pro-street seats so I pulled yhem out and I haven't decided on what seats yet but they will be incorporating a 4 point harness. Interior is super clean.
These are some interior pics from when I picked up the car. I will take some current ones tomorrow. The toggle switches are no longer there and I have reinstalled the heater control along with heater boxes and heater core. I'm still trying to figure how I'm going to do the gauges but they will all be mechanical Autometer. http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver057.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver055.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...yDriver054.jpg |
It's worth about $10 until it drives, it's sitting at ride height, and most imortantly, you take the best photos you're capable of....

As soon as motor shows up I can complete it. My only regret is that I dont have room to pull subframe and give it a true Pro-Touring/Lat-G cleansing. I have had approved plans for a shop build on my property for a year now and as soon as I sell this the shop goes up and hopefully I can get to build some cleaner rides. |
Got a call from the engine builder today and it is finally done. He says it dynoed at 421 HP. Car should be completed 3 weeks from today so if anyone is interested please contact me.

That 3/4 tank full of gas adds $200.00 to the selling price  I may be interested
