Custom wheels for 5/8 Drive Studs?

Hello,

I am going to be in the market for some Pro-touring style custom wheels in the near future and have a bit of a situation. The rear on my car has 5/8" drive studs and I don't want to run my drag wheels on the street.

My question is which wheel company would be able to build me a set of wheels where the rear wheels are machined to accommodate the 5/8" drive studs and fronts are regular 1/2". (Chevy bolt pattern)

The usage of the car is Street/Strip with the intention of having the ability to fit Drag wheels on the rear at the strip and switch to street wheel tire for the street.

I can do something for you in the NewGen line. It is going to depend on the design. Give me a call in the morning and we can go over exactly what you are looking for in a wheel and see what we can some up with. You can check out the NewGen wheels on our website www.driverzinc.com

a few years ago I had ordered some ccw classics (their 3 piece wheels) and they set them up for 5/8 studs.(unfortunately i have not gotten the car done yet). not sure if they can do it to their 1 piece wheels or not but worth a call.

What size wheels are you looking for. I have some centers that have a 5x4.75 Chevy bolt circle, drilled for 5/8 stud. I could get you a killer deal

I'm in the same boat- 5/8" studs as well. Looks like we have options.
