Speed Tech control arms?

Is anyone running the speed tech control arms and Qa1 coilovers on a 69 camaro?Looks like a nice kit that they have now,but just want to be sure before trying.

speedtech arms are good, but I would not run Qa1's. Get the new Ride Tech coilover, you will be much happier

thanks for the imformation,I have not heard much about these, just looking at an affordable way to adjust ride height.next car will have a DSE subframe.

I'm running that setup on my stock subframe.

I'm quite happy to be honest but I don't race or track my car (no time, not that I don't want to ) so not sure what your intended use is.

Lots of cars running those arms. I have not heard anything but good things.
I will be running Speed Tech arms on my 70 Camaro.
Plus the customer service from them is outstanding. Great value all around.

I am running a smoothed stock subframe, bought the cheap china made ones and highly recommend not doing that.I am just running on street and show, but like the adjustability of the QA1s for ride height

Please elaborate on this. The regulars and vendors on this site all know that this is an area where quality construction is vital but anyone searching might benefit from your first hand experience.

I would echo the recommendation of looking at the ridetech coilovers. The QA1s seem to have a high incidence of leaking.

Also, keep in mind that coilovers should only be used to fine tune ride height, +/- 1 inch at most.

I bought the whole 70 Camaro Speedtech front end kit with true coilover RideTechs, they are very nice, won't be driving on them for a long time, but the quality and customer service is great.

qa1's tend to leak almost without fail. plus they feel harsh to me. the new ridetech monotube are less prone to leak due to construction type, and the hyperco springs work great

Im running the speedtech arms and qa1s on a stock frame.. 2 years no leaks but i dont race my 69.. im happy with the fit, construction and adjustability.
