Panel Beater Stand
Put together a shot bag stand over the past couple evenings. Got the base at a swap meet earlier this summer for 10 bucks. It’s outta some old gas station and was a grinding wheel stand. I took the original mount plate off it – and picked up a piece of cut-off scrap circle from a local metal supplier where I buy my metals. Clean, sand blast, coat of paint and put some rubber feet on it – added an 18 inch leather bag from Dagger tools and several different plastic and wooden forming hammers.
I love old recycled stuff. http://i940.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/CIMG5970.jpg Jim |

Ok, so we know you can build tools. How bout cars? Seriously, I'm glad you are getting back in the garage. I can't wait to see the progress. Guess i better get the fuel cell bugs worked out so we can build yours!

Between building this stand, a welding table, and your neighbors deck.... YOU NEED COUNSELING!.... (don't we all!). Looks great.
When do you start making carbon fiber parts? Most of the guys here don't know what you have in your freezer. --Eric |

I sent my speedster seats off to the sandblaster a week back - and they are now in a friends paint shop getting primed, body worked and a slick primer top coat. Then I'll pull a splash mold off that - build a final mold from that. Then it's time to pull 2 carbon seats ! Same with the hood - it's at the sand blaster right now. Jim |
