CT member with a 69 Camaro project
Hi everyone! I've been a member for quite some time so I thought I should introduce myself and say hello. I come on the site almost daily to check out all the amazing projects going on and keep up with the latest news. I've been working on my 69 Camaro for almost 5 years now. Never would have imagined it would take this long, but life gets in the way I guess. I've done all the work myself in my 2 car garage. I replaced all the sheet metal, built a twin turbo setup for my LS1, fabbed a 3-link rear, and a lot of the typical pro-touring stuff. Just finishing up sheet metal work now and then bodywork will start. When I get a chance, I will start a build thread and post some pictures now that I feel like I finally have something to show. This is a great site and has been a wealth of knowledge and I don't think I would have made it as far as I have without it. Hopefully I can pay it forward and help some of you guys out!

Welcome aboard, Mike.
Glad our community has been a good resource for your project. Definitely post up some pics and/or start a build thread sometime. Looking forward to it. |
Welcome! Fellow ct guy myself.

Welcome! With a twin turbo set up, home built 3 link and a complete sheet metal swap, it sounds like you have tons of good stuff to show. Looking forward to seeing it.

Welcome; You've done some nice work there. I love the spoiler.

LOOKIN GOOD!!
Can i ask what you are using for headers? Clean looking install and i'm looking for some ideas... Lead. |
Thanks guy! I appreciate the compliments!
Lead, Those are LS2 manifolds from a C6 corvette. The drivers side is a tight fit with a steering box and power brakes. I ended up having to change from a vacuum booster to a hydraulic booster to give myself a little more room for the flipped manifolds. I was just barely able to squeeze the 3" down pipe in there. |
Welcome.
Nice spoiler. How many hours do you have in the spoiler? |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:11 AM. |
