Going to see the Seahawks vs the Eagles in Dec. Where to sit??
So as the title says, I'm going to see the Seahawks play the Eagles on December 1. It's a Thursday night game so should be fun. I've never been to an NFL game (lots of CFL games) and never been to the Qwest Field. Tickets go on sale for non season ticket holders the end of the month. Just wondering, where's a good place to sit? Is it worth paying $250 a ticket or more to get lower bowel near the 40-50 yard line or is it just as good to sit in the upper bowl. I don't mind paying for good seats, but if I can save some money (we're flying out to Vegas the following morning) it would help. Thanks in advance.

NFL is hands down more entertaining then the CFL. I've been to a few Seahawk games (not a fan BTW) and definately recommend the lower bowl seats. Get ready to stand the entire game and for some serious noise. Good luck getting tix they are hard to come by. It's a real cool event especially if you have never been.

I grew up playing NFL rules so have always been a huge fan of the NFL. I debated about going to see the Raiders in the preseason as they are my team, but thought the Eagles in December should be fighting for top spot so should be a good game. There are lots of tickets available right now at all the different ticket brokers. Anywhere up to $400 a ticket. If I don't get anything when the public sale goes on, I'll get some from one of the brokers. I figure I should get them sooner than later. I can't wait to go. Taking the wife as we've never been to Vegas by our selves either. We've always taken her mom or met my parents there so should be a great trip.

It will be a good game, but the Hawks have been a little weak and Eagles look strong on paper this year. The fans will be crazy loud when Vick is on offence. I'm actually a Rams fan, so there'e been a Seattle - St Louis rivalry for a few years. Rams used to own them, then it reversed and now they both suck. So both teams are trying to improve. It's a horrible division though...

I thought it may have been more recent...the Greatest Show on Turf with Warner, Faulk, Holt, Bruce, etc. Those were some fun games.
To the OP, my experience has been that if you get low seats in the upper section you will save a little $$ and be able to see plays develop better. I have not had the pleasure of seeing a game in that stadium though so it may be different. You guys have a great crowd...I know the Rams pipe crowd noise into the practice facility the week they play the Seahawks to prepare! |
century link field, formally QUEST is the LOUDEST stadium in the NFL! and the hawks are making some good moves to get back into contention! ENJOY the game ill be there watching mike vick light it up

One thing to keep in mind is seattle weather that time of year. One section back from next to the field starts to have some overhead coverage. I know for the sounders games I go to some sections are all inclusive food & drink also but I don't know if the hawks do that.
