3 inches each side.

On a second gen. you only gain a little over 1 1/2 inches per side.

so the tubes will only come a 1 1/2 into the trunk area? I might have a clearance issuee with my roll cage, I have a little over 2in of room between my stock tubs and the roll cage.

I did the tubs first, then the DSE frame connectors. After this I used the DSE roll bar kit and custom built the rest off of it.

If your using the DSE bar then you will have no clearance issues.

I already have the roll bar in place. That why I need to know how much room I will need. I might have to cut the rear bars off and redo them when I install the tubs

If it's the DSE bar you'll have no clearance problems with it already in place.
If it's a custom bar, you'll be cutting back about 1.5 inches from the present tub front to back and tapering to the existing point in the front and rear as it turns the corner.
