DSE Mini Tub on a 69 Camaro Convertible
 

I am in the process of minitubing my 69 camaro convertible (along with replacing everything else) and I want to use the stock rear..i.e use the DSE shock relocation mount. has anyone done this on a convertible. there is significantly more structure to the seat back support then there is on a coupe. do you have to cut the entire seat back support out and weld it back in after you put the shock mount in? thanks!
