I used a Spec Stage 3 clutch. When I got mine, a lot of 4th gen guys were using them and they were good bang for your buck. No problems in 5000 miles with probably 50% track miles.

I have a Monster clutch. Can't tell you how it is as still in the build stage, but lots of good reviews from the guys at LS1Tech.com. Here's their site: http://monsterclutches.com/

I'm running a new Spec Stage 3+ and am very happy with it.

I run a spec 2 in my camaro and a spec 3+ in my truck...no complaints.I have read the LS7 clutch is a keeper too.

mcleod rst and rxt get great reviews. im going to run the rxt even though im going to be ~630hp. different material than the rst for more forgiveness and both are reported to have incredible pedal feel.

I am currently running a monster stage 2

in mine. Made 425/385 at the wheels. I like it a lot better than the Textralia I was running. I tried to stay away from the puck style as they are a little grabby for the street.

Heard good stuff about centerforces new twin disc. A little expensive, but the pedal is a easy as any stock GM clutch. Yancey has one in his 5th and Rupp is running on in Bad Penny.

Depending on how you're going to drive it, I prefer stock LS7 as driveability is excellent. It would be fine with 600hp unless you plan on drag racing it often with sticky tires.

i heard this as well and initially went with an rst. after reading reviews on the rxt which has been out for a few years now, i switched even though it is a puck style. nothing but great reviews on the street.
