Pay it forward thread.....
 

I would like to propose we start a new thread called "Pay It Forward". Or members helping members.

I have been truly blessed with some help from members here. Greg Weld and Chad Fletcher with parts. And countless others with information and answers to some pretty silly questions at times.

A thread like this could be used to thank members and vendors alike for helping out with parts deals, advice, tips, support or whatever.

I see so many people here doing things for others then it gets lost in the pages in different threads.

This site is head and shoulders above any other auto related site that I am aware of. We have the BEST group of people here and I thought it would be a nice way to say thanks in a public forum for everyone to see. I also think it would give new members and people who might not be members yet a place to see how good this group really is.
Make it a sticky in the open discussion or off topic sections.

I know that without the generosity of people like Greg and now Chad my project would almost be dead in the water. And without the solid answers from the experts here I would be doing way too many things wrong that would cost time and money I can not afford to lose.
I could name dozens of members and vendors who have helped me in one way or another .
I think its time we had a dedicated place to express our gratitude.

I'm a firm believer in Karma but I'm not a firm believer in having the world know I've went out of my way to help someone. You do something positive in life, it will pay dividends without 15 pats on the back. Just my opinion.

Good point Todd. And I believe in Karma too. Good and bad.

I believe in it tremendously....just call it something else, blessings.
I read somewhere that you reap what you sow. And that a generous person will be blessed. :thumbsup:

A sticky would be nice and would help all of clean out our extra crap laying around too! LOL

Y'all are correct IMHO. People, especially on this site, do good things not for recognition but for the feeeling they get when helping another friend out. Unless they are the type that prefers or asks for anonominity, a little tip of the hat is never a bad thing. Here's one I'd like to add:
