Road trip broke down. Reporting from the scene
 

Taking www.projectr517.com to Florida. Headed out at 6 am with plans to be in Dawsonville ga from Clinton il tonight. Had about 400 miles on the car since getting it going. Made it just past the big hills and blew some sort of seal out of the trans on chatanogga. Have our contact in Dawsonville coming to get us soon. Not sure how we will be getting into fl now. Have to be there by the 28th. Then the npd show in silver springs on oct 1. At least we coasted to a gas station by a hardees A few miles either way and we would really be stuck.

Fixed and delivered! Turned out to be a bad trans cooler hose.

Everything happens for a reason. We ended up sharing the message of the car with the clerk at the station that it coasted to. With tears in her eyes she said that maybe it broke down just so we would stop and talk to her. I guess that makes it all worth it and it was a simple fix.

The car broke on very nice and was just smooth and slick the rest of the way.
