DSE 1964 - 72 Control Arms + AFX Tall Spindles
Hey guys, I really like the quality and engineering behind DSE products, but I would like to run AFX spindles on a 1965 Chevelle. Unfortunately, they only sell their controls arms for this body style with their own custom steel drop spindle. Just wondering if anyone has bought their kit and used an AFX spindle instead?
Not sure the extra $500 for this kit makes their control arms worth it and I'm also not sure one's ability to re-sell just the DSE dropped spindle. Your thoughts are most appreciated! |
Any thoughts?
To the top.

any reason you don't want to use the Speedtech arms??

I like that DSE components are designed & analyzed by suspension engineers. I also like DSE's unique design for adjusting caster while other companies use fixed "offset" shafts.
You guys make some quality parts. I am considering the Speedtech parts as well as Global West. Speedtech might be more appealing if there was a discount on packaging AFX spindles + Upper and lower control arms. It adds up when consider the spindles + A-body steering arm + control arms. Can your Tall A-body spindles be used with an off the shelf or F-body steering arm + Baer Trackers to adjust bump steer? |
Actually if you buy the Speedtech arms with The AFX spindles they are 169.00 cheaper than buying GW arms and AFX spindles, if you choose to buy
D S E it appears you can only buy the arms with the spindles. You can use the factory A body arms. the billet arms do inprove the bump steer over the factory arms. |
