66 Nova wheel and tire sizes

Getting ready to select and need some input. I can fit an 8x18 in the front and am undecided whether to put 18s in back or step up to 19s and would 20s be out of the question? I can fit up to 11" wide because I'm tubbing the car. I'm also looking for the proper tire fitment regardless if I go 18s, 19s, or 20s in the rear. I've been told the car will have a more aggressive stance if I run a taller wheel in the back. The problem going with 19s or 20s is there are limited tires available. I also want to be careful not to get the rubber band look by going with to short of tire. BTW I'm going with a 7 spoke wheel by DPE.

18s in front and 19 out back would look aewsome plus you would get more tire in the back then if you went with a 20 inch wheel. If you are worried about performance then go with an 18x11 in the back plus you can buy tires for it from any one.

What did you end up going with?

I went with a seven spoke by DPE and am sorry I did. Took forever had they had to redo the fronts. I would not recommend them

Doug!

It actually took this long to get your wheels? OMG I would be pissed! Remember when My friend and I came over and we talked about your car and you had said that the wheels would be arriving any day now. That was 6 months ago wasn't it? Sorry to hear about your bad experience! How is the rest of the car coming along? Post some pics dammit! Hows the long roof coming along?
