Hook, line and sinker

I'm hooked. While looking for suspension ideas for my current project I ran accross this forum, wow! I'm headed to SEMA for the first time in a few weeks and can't wait to check out some of these cars up close...man o man.
I've got nothing close to this build style right now...:_paranoid I have a feeling the next one "for the wife" will go down this path.
That's all for now, got to get back to reading.

I've been kicking around the idea of building a multi purpose car. Something that I can run at Bonneville, take to the drags and be able to run with my friends at open track events (mostly BMW's) I always thought it would be a mid 50's Ford or Plymouth. My dad and I built a Studebaker for Bonneville, and while it's a lot of fun, building something that you run once a year isn't ideal. I thought I would finish my current ride and start looking for something...
I'm now the poud owner of a 67 Barracuda Formula S. Buddy of mine goin through a divorce, stalled project, in pieces, perfect! So now the wheels are turning and SEMA is comin up.
I forgot to mention that I'll be going down with a buddy that is in the Optima Street Challenge. Blue 68 Charger, not as built as some but fun as hell, he's also responsible for a black 68 that was on Bullrun years ago, Mr. Angry? Lots of stuff has been changed/upgraded on that car but talk about a chic magnet...whoowee!
Back to the boards to gain more info
Dan
