Sema dress code?

Hi all :)

Well my brother and I are very excited as we get to go to sema thur and fri  I guess my brother got 2 passes as he is part of the opinion leader program!

Anyway he mentioned that he thought he saw there was a dress code or something but can't find it anymore? So to all the great people here that have gone, can I wear my t-shirt and jeans or do I have to break out some "nice" clothes?

We are from wisconsin and its 50 degrees here and we are wearing shirts outside so I have a feeling we are going to want to wear shorts etc but I don't want to get kicked out of this either!

Defiantly going to check out ironworks as I have loved all the projects there have been doing

Hope to see/meet some of you guys there :D

Thanks for the help!

I've seen many people there in t-shirts and jeans. We usually wear a polo shirt or similar. Obviously shoes and socks. Most of the people in slacks and dress shirts are the exhibitors with a booth.

Yeah. In the tire and wheel hall less is more :-).

Polo and nice jeans or dockers and you'll be dressed as well as most anyone there. You'll have a blast

Dude -- they let me in so there is very obviously zero accounting for taste, codes, or class.

Wear very comfortable walking shoes. It's brutal on your back, shoes, ankles, feet, legs, wallets, advil, visine, imodium.

Other than that seeing all these diseased pups that are knee deep in this stuff, it's awesome.

I second this- comfortable walking shoes (sneakers) are a must. It's a big show spread across many galleries, not to mention everything outside. Also, pack light and save grabbing the magazines for the end of the day, otherwise you're stuck lugging it around all day. Some vendors will have bags to hand out (free advertising) so you won't need to bring a bag to carry all the swag you'll likely be picking up. Unless you bring something to roll behind you...

I did that once. I find that even sneakers need a week of break in before SEMA. The show is brutal on feet.
