Project Sleeping Beauty... 1970 TA

Well we're at it again LOL,,,, Carbon Kustoms has commissioned Scott to do another Bird "Project Sleeping Beauty".... I wanted to challenge Scott to build an attractive yet understated 70 TA Pro-touring build that the average guy could afford.... The car will utilize a stock sub-frame with readily available Ride Tech suspension components and Wilwood brakes.... We will attempt to make some of the hard choices and balance where money is spent and cut as closely as possible to build a very good road map for others that may be considering doing a early second gen....

Of course there will be a certain basis when it comes to Carbon panels,,, but hey that's what you get when I'm financing the build and it's my rules right,,, that is unless someone else wants to step up and purchase the build as we go along LOL...
Anyways without further a due,,, Project Sleeping beauty

those are beautiful cars. And the carbon pieces will more than negate the extra weight they carry in the front end versus a Camaro.

Love it, keep us posted.

It's still undecided Chris,,, I have options and to go either way and will figure that out as we go... The whole deal around this car is to move laterally as opportunity avails it's self.... Currently I have a 400 stroked to 461 that I could freshen up and I also have a LS1 with a 6 speed I could put into play... There is also a chance to possibly get a smoking deal on a LQ9 I'm waiting to hear about,,, so as you can see it'll be a decision based on economics...

We're really going to try to do this like someone trying to build a car with best options as they avail themselves.... I have the components to fully build the car in my own collection of parts and I'll be looking to upgrade or take advantage of this and what comes along (provided it fits the spirit of the build well) and maintains that sleeper quick economical model we're shooting for... Wow that last sentence was a mouth full LOL...
