68 Camaro project

Hoping to have this car done by April '12 but it sure does take a lot longer than I anticipated. Here are some pictures: Goal http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October114.jpg Starting point http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2.../camaro019.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2.../camaro027.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...le/Fcar067.jpg Freshly rebuilt 396 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October078.jpg Finished the headlights http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October077.jpg and tail lights http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October076.jpg Building dash piece and center console http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October172.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October171.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October169.jpg Trunk http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...October170.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ember11179.jpg Door panels http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ember11107.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ember11105.jpg Back deck- Rear buckets http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ember11104.jpg

Thanks for the compliments.

Preview of what the door panels will look like. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ber11067-1.jpg

Wow, the door panels are crazy. Rendering is sick too. What size are the rear tires gonna be?

Texas68 12-15-2011 07:14 AM

Car is not tubbed so I'm not going to be able to put much back there.

Wheels will be here early next week.......20x10 rear and 18x9 up front. Hoping to get a 275/30/20 in the back but I'm probably going to have to roll the fenders to make it work.

Nice interior work! Door panel's came out slick! Obviously not your first go around with doing this.

Wow! Looks great. Is this going to be an audio competition rig? You have some excellent mdf skills.

Texas68 12-16-2011 06:38 AM

Not a competition rig just putting a nice sound system in it.

I wish I could take credit for the work but it's being done by an audio shop. These guys do excellent work.
