I keep blowing fuses and do not know why.
I have a 68 camaro that ran fine about 6 months ago. I have had the car sitting for about 6 months now. Every time I go to start it, it blows the fuse coming off the positive battery cable. It used to do this every now and then but now its continuous. I rigged up a 50 fuse with wire and it didn't blow, but it did melt the wiring. any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is from a Ford site, but the idea works for all cars.

I had this same problem with my 69 Camaro. Do you have an electric fuel pump? If so, that may be the problem. I was going through 15 amp fuses like water. Replaced mine and it fixed the problem.
