How many hours to assemble Camaro?

How many hours/days would you guys say it will take to assemble a bare shell into a turn key 68 camaro?

that would vary greatly depending on how many toys you have going in ie pw, pl, big audio system, etc. Devil is in the details. I would say no less than 200 on a simple carb'd no frills car to 400 plus with all the goodies.

Mine is just a shell now so I'll let you know in about 2 years.:D

I agree with you - and alot has to do with the condition of the parts. If you are installing brand new window regulators and all other parts it will speed up the process but I would agree that a base car should be 200+ hrs without any frills and then go up from there. There is a large amount of time consumed just in lining up glass, installing trim, running wiring, etc.

The better the metal work and fit is with out having to force this piece and flex that piece to make things fit. If it fits together easliy it will go together easy.

It also depends on how much bondo you had to put on the project. Depending on metal work and how someone went about the body work it might be a totally different car when your trying to reassemble it.

Like I have said a lot. HOW MUCH IS A BAG OF GROCERIES.
