Oven cleaner on powdercoat
 
can anyone tell me if oven cleaner will hurt powder coating?I am trying to clean caked on bodywork dust and residue of off a sub-frame.

I would think so. If you have a small area that won't show you could do a test. I know brake cleaner discolors it, changes the sheen. I've used 409, Simple Green, etc. in the past without damage.

x2. I'd be careful. It removes anodize coating!
