Hey i'm thinking about picking this up this 69' Camaro within a week and I was wondering what you guys thought about the quarter panel. Don't worry about the weird chrome trim thats on there. It'll come off.

There's also a picture of the fender too. I would like to keep the factory sheet metal if possible. Whats the best recommendation?

Also any idea what an average price is for repair?

On the quarter the outer wheel tub lip will be gone as well as the outer quarter lip. Depends on how hard you want to work. The outer wheel lip needs to be replaced so the quarter lip needs to be removed. Easier way is to use a quarter skin from the top body line down, that way you can cut off the old quarter and repair/replace the outer wheel tub.

Front fender is typical, the bracing behind the rust will be really bad as well. You can get a lower patch panel, and fix the structure underneath before installing the new patch panel.

Thanks for the reply. I know every shop has different rates but whats a typical price range for a job like that?
