Wanting to put a 17" or 18" wheel on my 57 which one do you guys like best and would you do 17s or 18s. I am planning on a 255/50 for the rear and a 225/50 for the front so I still have a sidewall.

I like both wheels; like the five spokes for a classic look, and the minilite style is more of a road race old school look. On a 57 I'd lean towards the five spokes.
One thing I would add............ I think a 57 needs a much taller tire than you're planning. It's a big car, and has plenty of room to fill in the wheelwells. |
With 255's and 225's I'd have to say 17's. I'm hoping you decide to go wider. Mini Lites dont belong on a '57.

I would tend to lean towards the 5 spoke also, which gives it a more classic look and I think matches the black ext. / red int.
Like Jody said, a taller tire will fill the fenders better. You might find more of the taller sizes available in 18" vs 17". |
17's. And yea agreed on the tire sizes. Also noticeable price jump in tires from 17 - 18's.
