Thoughts on applying Raptor Liner
 

Hey guys-

Just finishing up the floors and looking to apply the Raptor Liner in the next week or so. Since I don't have access to a lift and the car is not on a rotisserie, any creative ideas on how get enough access to raptor line the under-side of the car? I figure I would ask around before I did something off the wall and wind up Raptor Lining myself.:_paranoid

You can build these for about $25. We use them all the time as do many other builders. (this is not my photo... just grabbed one online for a quick reference).
Raptor liner is great. We use it all the time but if you are doing it in your home garage make sure you have plenty of air circulation. That stuff will burn your eyes out. :thumbsup:

Haha. I like the personal style and creativity used in pic one...but I'll go with the second choice. Do you have specs on the size of the blocks?

Heres how I made ours:
A standard 8ft '2x4' measures 1.5"x3.5"x96"
That length will get you (6) 16" long pieces with NO waste.
Stack them 6 pieces high for a total height of 9" tall.
Each stack will take (12) 16" long pieces.
That equal 8 whole 8ft long 2x4's with NO waste.

Average Cost of 2x4 = $2.25
x 8 Pieces = $16 (Plus a box of nails)
