$50 New Project

This will slow down my progress even more on the 1972. 1968 Cutlass. Everything is there except the hood hinges, motor/trans and the windshield. Drivers side fender will need to be replaced, though. For $50, I won't complain. Good deals are still happening guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 1987 I picked up a 71 Lemans for free that needed only a battery and some tires to bring back to life. It was in Michigan and of course had a SERIOUS case of fender/floor cancer.

While driving around town I found another one with a solid body and talked the owner into selling it for $50. Both had the big 350.

Man...those were the days.

Great score!

How much is a 1968 Olds 442 worth? Its all there but needs to be totally restored? Looks like a solid project you have for a great price.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT this one was nice and I don't exactly know what the guy wanted for it. It would make a good 442 clone. It would make an even better Hurst Olds clone since there was only 515 made. That's my direction as of today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-...QQcmdZViewItem here's another one but it's a convertible.

i have a similar "deal" but mine was free also.

went to look at some tri-5 chevy parts, noticed a super clean 79 blazer full size sittin there with no motor, trans, t-case. asked the guy about it, he said he wanted it gone, i joking told him i would take the tri-5 parts(rear window channels, factory a/c vents, backseat frame, lil "crap") if he threw in the blazer...and the guy said ok :D so for $100 of customer money i bought the customers parts, and drug home the blazer.

the blazer will be my new "driver/parts chaser", its goin together with a bunch of spare parts that were floating around. this was last week i drug it home, now its sportin 2wd suspension with an altitude adjustment, sittin on 20" wheels, had a TPI 350 sittin under the bench....threw some rings/bearings in it, freshened a T350 to go behind it. waiting on the stand alone TPI harness/computer to show up, then drop in the motor/trans. i think im into it about $900 so far(new tires for the 20" wheels, engine/trans freshening parts, new brake parts....etc) so take 1 free blazer, a bunch of good spare parts, and a couple weeks time, and you get a really cool "driver"
