I was watching Dream Car garage and they highlighted a new company making Mopar cars and parts with latemodel technolgy. Sounds like its right up our alley. Did anybody see it? I hope I'm not violating any rules here. If I am I will remove the link. Just LMK.

I'm glad you guys checked out the Dram Car Garage show. The episodes will get more interesting as the season progresses - they will be covering much of the technology we used to develop our cars, alot of which has never been applied to classic muscle cars - especially on the suspensions.

Much of the technology used is typically only available at the OE manufactrurer level or to professional race teams - i.e. F1, IRL, Champ and even NASCAR. We are really, really fortunate to have been able to use the tools and technology applied.

Not sure if you guys are familiar with four post rigs or how torsion tests are performed on a chassis. This will be on Dream Car Garage, but we've also explained it and showed it on our website. If you look in the suspension development page of the Xv Engineering section it lists the steps used to develop our suspensions. Click on the descriptions and it show what these are and explains them.

We've really tried to develop as many aspects of the cars as we can using the latest and best technology (and engineers) available in each specific area. We are basically re-engineering every aspect of these cars other then their looks.

I think you will find the upcoming Dream Car Garage episodes very interesting.

Very cool setup you have there. I have always wanted to built a Cuda or Challenger or Road Runner but was waiting for the technology to catch up. :)

If you like, I'll try and keep you guys posted as more things develop. We have many things being made for these cars. I'm assuming suspension and brake will be of most interest here?

You guys just opened a whole new door for me. I always liked Mopars but finding parts can be a nightmare. Now I need to keep a eye out for a killer deal on a Mopar. :willy:

Welcome to the site.

When I started looking into doing this seriously, I found that there was virtually nothing available for the Mopars other than pieces to go fast in a straight line with. Drag racing is cool, but my thing was always throwing a car through the turns. Even for brakes, there were no hard core, road race quality setups available.

I think you'll find our Level II suspension system very interesting - SLA, double A-Arm front with coilovers, variable rate rack and out back the leaf springs get replaced with a three link setup, with adjustable upper link, panhard bar and coilovers. Its all being done in aluminum including the K-Member, spindles, control arms, rear links and panhard bar. Shocks are about as good as they get - double adjustable w/ or w/o remote reservoir and aluminum bodies. All is being dialed in under simulations, four post testing, track testing and road testing. For the four post and track testing we'll have a shock engineer and shock dyno on hand to recalibrate the shocks on the spot until they are dialed in.

So the classic Mopars will get a serious dose of modern technology.

Best part is they are filming all of this as it is happening and people will be able to see it on Dream Car Garage throughout their 2006 season. If you're like me, this is the kind of stuff you really want to see on TV.

So the classic Mopars will (finally) get a serious dose of modern technology.
