Need help with Some pictures. please

If any of you have seen my posts in the Member/Project introduction section You know that I build model cars. I'm working on a 1/10th scale 69 Camaro. I'm making an LSX engine from scratch, as well as a t-56. If any of you have dimensions or pictures, or both, could you either post them, or e-mail them to me at [email protected] . I need pictures of all sides of the block. I want it to be as accurate as possible. Also the front and rear covers if you can. Anything that you would think will be beneficial. I will post up some pictures of the progress, as well as a link to the thread that I started in the intro section.

Thank You in Advance
Russell

those will be A LOT of help when I get a little further into the build. I'll get some pics in a few minutes. I'm going to keep the configuration I've got worked up right now. What I am doing is measuring a 1:25 scale engine and scaling everything up to 1:12th scale. I was wrong in the initial post, it is 1:12th scale not 1:10th. I can't thank you enough for your help. I wish I had the money to buy the LSx for my s-10. Then I could just take measurements of the real thing. lol

Glad I could help out :) . I wish I could take measurements of a real one too :( . Anyway, good luck with the project, looking forward to seeing some pics.

Well, here is what I've got so far. The block needs a lot of clean up around the sides where I used superglue to get the look I was after. I've also roughed out the cylinder head. All it needs is the ends capped off, and the exhaust port details and plug holes done and it will be ready to cast. I'll make a "perfect" peice, then make a mold and cast 2 identical peices. The only thing that worries me thus far, is the shot of the head sitting atop the engine. It just doesn't look right. The first couple of shots are the engine that comes in the kit. it has a scratchbuild bellhousing. Well the beginnings of one. As I had originally planned on constructing the T-56 and attaching it to that engine.

Thanks. I have spent the last 20 or 30 min or so working on the exhaust port area. I'll have to rework the base of the head so that it looks more realistic. Also to account for the head bolts and the spark plug bungs. I'll get the progress thread updated in the project forum tomorrow and I'll keep it updated as I go along. As well as post a link here to it.
