Need opinions on what type of insulation to put down on floor
 

I will be installing carpet in the not so distant future. I know interior places typically put Jute underneath. Trying to determine if I should also go the Dynamat route and or any other alternatives out there.

Not running a sound system so that is not a factor.

Dynamat Extreme is the best. Super Cheap on Ebay. Only 150-160 per 36sf case.

I've been in the floor covering business 35+ years and had numerous options available. A friend gave me some Dynamat Extreme and it far exceeded my expectations.
