out of curiosity, will a set of 462 heads be capable of 500 hp on a fully built 302 chevy?

Sorry, we used those heads in stock car racing due to rules restrictions. You are not going to get there with those heads in any configuration with only 302 ci. You may get there with a fully ported set on 410+ ci. And a large solid roller. I wouldn't want to drive it on the street . Whats your attraction to them? For the money you will spend building them all out, you can buy Aluminum off the shelf that will run circles around them. AFR comes to mind immediately! Good luck. :thumbsup:
