Mono-Ball Ball Joints??

What do you guys think of these? They use a spherical bearing and are adjustable so you can effectively lengthen the spindle to adjust roll center. My main concern is strength on a heavy street driven vehicle. Mono-Ball

Strength is not a concern Keith. The lack of working angle and longevity are the 2 key points limiting street use.

Yeah. Lack of working angles.

There`s another issue too. Monoballs are stongest radially,as in the upper ball joints. The lowers have huge axial loads and the tiny races the the monoballs wear VERY rapidly. To say nothing of what happens once water and or road grit are introduced into the mix. Mark SC&C
