S B0MB 04 Silverado Build

I didnt even know til today, that this website had a truck specific section.

So with that said a lil details and info.
My goal with the truck is to have a drag street track flying mile and maybe something that can kind of corner ;). And still act as a truck haul things etc

Anyhow it started out as a V6 5 speed which i bought in mid 07. By the end of the year it had an aluminum headed BBC in it. Then due to the fine economy I did some horse trading etc and took a change in employment. But then i got a good deal on a couple of 8.1's so I put the 8.1 in it. Fiddle with it while being in the army. And then i started getting crazy with it.

Currently the truck has a single turbo 505 BBC Viperized faceplated t56 3.42 posi (Got a 14 bolt 10.5 to replace it) C6 Zo6 Brakes all the way around. 15 inch rotors front 14 inch rear. Full ridetech air ride. Moved gas tank behind the axle. I am building a twin turbo BBC for it with hopes of beating the fastest street legal truck and do some flying mile and some auto X. Since i dropped off the truck to get dyno tuned the day I flew out for my deployment to afghanistan. I havent had a chance to drive it with the turbo hooked up. One issue I have had with the truck since day one is getting it to hook. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I plan on at least when i go to drag race it unbolting the end links from the sway bar. and see if it will bring the front end up a little faster. I know i need to get some dbl adjustable shocks and start playing with them. I also plan on doing some aero mods. Making a belly pan a wing and a contoured bed cover.

Beautiful job and like Ron said thank you for serving. I know you have a lot more power than mine but I could not get it to hook until I put in some cal trac bars and they also helped out tremendously with pinion angle adjustment. I'm running t56 w 2.66 1st gear and 4.88 gears so my drive shaft is spinning like crazy and I had a lot of vibration. It now hooks up nice especially if I have a few tool bags in the rear. No more wheel hop, drive shaft use to hit cab when I woul punch it. no more. So if you have the space cal tracs maybe your ticket. By the way like all you done to your truck but do you really drink Pepsi :?
