Hello Lateral-G from Carl at Chassisworks

Hi Everyone,
My name’s Carl Ogren and I am one of the sales and tech guys here at Chris Alston’s Chassisworks. I have actually been a normal member of this forum for several years -mostly lurking and giving my buddies a hard time. I have been fortunate to know some of you personally and many professionally.

With Chassisworks having recently become a Lateral-G Supporting Vendor I am now allowed to post in an official capacity. That’s pretty exciting for me because now not only do I get to talk about cars on the phone all day but I get to help out on this forum too!

A little about me; I’m in my early 30s and was born and raised in Northern California spending lots of time at Sears Point/Infineon with my dad and his drag car. I play mandolin and guitar in an Irish rock band even though I’m not Irish. I have four 1960s vehicles at home but still have an odd weakness for 80s Toyota pickups. I raced dirt bikes and street bikes a little bit in my 20s and still track ride a Honda NC29 as often as possible. Of my current projects the most complete is a ’69 big block El Camino but I will save details on that for later.

I look forward to providing feedback and answering questions about all of the Chris Alston’s Chassisworks brands products. I don’t claim to be an expert or guru but I do happen to work with a few. If you have a question please don’t hesitate to call my direct extension (247) or send me an email at [email protected].

~Carl :lateral:

Welcome Carl. Can you please get somebody over there to develop drop-spindle for the early Mustang suspension? My TCP Coil-Over conversion setup is max'd out.

Thanks

Thanks guys.

Jody, I'm still impressed by our shop/factory and I saw it for the first time five years ago!

Chris, give me a call. I don't see us making a drop spindle anytime this decade but there may be some other way for us to get your car a bit lower depending on the year of your car and the current combination.

Welcome Carl.

What's up Gaetano, are you coming out to SCCA at Mather this weekend? I'll be out there on Sunday. I'm riding shotgun with our webmaster in his grocery getter, maybe co-driving.

Haha! If I brought home another vehicle I think I'd find myself single. I left out how many motorcycles I have hoarded. :_paranoid Shhhh!

I'll be at Thunderhill on Saturday and doing some family time on Sunday. If I have the energy to get the fluids changed maybe I can talk the wife into it. Keep me posted on the next Mather event.
