Spark plug gaps

Getting ready to fire up my motor and it occurred to me that the gap might be important. It's a 440, 8.5:1 comp ratio, pump gas, FAST EFI, MSD 6AL with a 46,000 blaster coil. What other factors am I missing and what would my gaps be? Is there a calculator of some sort? Thanks again.

plug gap.

since you are running a big block, EFI, msd, etc... I would start a .040. Once you get it going good and smooth. you should play with the gap size, to find that sweet spot. Almost forgot, what kind of plugs you going to use?

Champion plugs as reccommended by INDY. Their motors are a little more radical than mine but they all use them. Thanks for the help Manny.

plugs

YA. I used autolites when I first fired my engine on the dyno. Once I got it on the car, I just played with the gap, to get it run a little smoother. Now that I am supercharged, back the plug game. lol...
