2015 Camaro concept
I know we have one or two guys like Camaros here so I thought I'd toss this speculative 2015 Camaro concept up to see what you guys thought. It's in the newest issue (July?) of Camaro Performers magazine. Thanks Nick for letting me submit this.
This rendering is a little different than my usual drawing style, it's a conceptual drawing that's meant to be exaggerated and dramatic like comic book characters. I only offer that as a disclaimer because there's been a couple folks who commented stuff like tire width and side mirror size on a 5th generation forum. Thanks for any comments! http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...2015Camaro.jpg |

It's funny that you mention it as a disclaimer. It's usually the exaggerated styling that gets people so excited about a concept to begin with, then the final design is a watered down version that just doesn't quite have the look.
This is the way the Camaro should look. Great job Ben! Jeff- |
Awesome !

Ben,
I see a lot of renderings floating around the net and on magazines. You hit a home run with this one. I must have stared at it for 5 minutes in my latest Camaro Performers magazine. I wouldn't change a thing. Tony |
Definitely an improvement, exagerations considered. Best 5th gen rendering I've seen to date.
I'd be interested to see what it would look like if the front section from rear of the doors to the lower edge of the front bumper was compressed about 1.5". That might give a little more rake rear to front and enlarge the side and front glass a little. The lower front air intake and brake ducts would be reduced in scale and the side line lowered. The rear fender duct could be dropped the same amount and the rocker dimension compressed slightly. The outer lower corners of the front headlight openings could be dropped slightly to blend the frontal lines and give it a little more of the traditional 1st gen grille apperance. Does that make sense? The 5th has a lot of potential but nobody has nailed it. I'll use the Mustang as an example as much as that hurts to say. :D |
If it looks like that I will purchase one

If this doesn't get built this way, it should be built. I know a guy..

Great work  Mainly because its believable for the new 'Maro. Supposed to be a bit smaller and likely evolved. The same recipe is supposedly being used for the new Challenger as well.

I could really get into that!!!
