need 6.0 flywheel for a 4l60e
 

looking for a flywheel for a 6.0L engine. engine came out of truck with 4l80e and flywheel had the adapter.
I need one that will enable me to use a 4l60e transmission.
any help on locating a source will be greatly appriciated.

What year is the 6.0? The '99-'00 6.0s had a longer crank and makes this a bit more difficult. If it is a newer year then you can use a 4l60e flywheel from a truck or Camaro LS based engine with 4l60e trans. I just did this same swap in my Jeep CJ. I bought an SFI flywheel from Autozone - sorry but I don't have the part number right now.

i'm not sure of the year(need to run numbers through the dealer), but my understanding is that it has the shorter crank due to the spacer used for the 4l80E flywheel.

I have a flywheel that will work for you. Its a GM flywheel from one of my LS2/4L70E drop out packages. I sold the engine to some one wanting to run a T56. You cover the shipping and I will give you the flywheel...along with the 6 bolts. :cheers:

Hey Alex... Im going to try and make time to ship you that flywheel tomorrow. I picked Ron up at the Airport Friday and a few of us drove over to Columbus GoodGuys. I had to play catch up at work today. I will get it shipped and then let you know what the shipping costs were.
