How to Remove Intake Cover
 

I did a web search and a search here but found nothing. I guess I'm the only one not smart enough to figure this out...

How is the intake manifold cover on an LS2 removed? All I see are two of the intake bolts at opposite corners that need to be removed. I tried inserting a screwdriver between the two and pried but no go.

What am I missing here?

there is no cover on the stock intake. The manifold is not made to be separated although it may appear it is with the form lines where the pieces are bonded.
